I believe the relationship between therapist and client must feel safe and empowering and I strive to create a genuine and judgment-free environment. I see each person’s story as unique, and therefore have an integrative and individualized approach to the therapeutic process. However, because I believe in the power of the stories we create about our lives, both through experiences and relationships, I am particularly drawn to a narrative therapeutic approach. I believe therapy is an opportunity to reshape our stories.

I have a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC).

Since graduating, I have had the honor to work with individuals, couples, and families in a variety of settings. I believe seeking counseling is an act of courage and self-advocacy and I enjoy supporting people in processing their stories as they seek a deeper understanding of themselves.

“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it.”  -Dr. Brenè Brown
